Academic foundation in design and visual thinking
Exploring ideas, patterns, and perspectives

OVERVIEW
This project showcases a collection of my Bachelor of Design work, focusing on hand-drawn explorations, artistic studies, and visual experiments. It reflects my foundation in observation, form, and expression, developed through traditional mediums like pencil, ink, and color.
The work explores a range of subjects including human forms, abstract compositions, nature-inspired patterns, and architectural studies. Each piece represents a process of understanding detail, structure, and visual rhythm, shaping how I approach design beyond digital interfaces.
APPROACH
My approach to these works is rooted in observation and iteration. Each piece begins with studying real-world references, breaking them down into fundamental shapes, lines, and textures.
Through repetition and experimentation, I focused on developing control over line, depth, and composition. Whether it is a structured architectural sketch or a free-flowing abstract form, the process balances precision with intuition. This practice helped build a strong visual sensitivity that continues to influence my design thinking.

EXPRESSION
These works explore how simple elements like lines, patterns, and contrast can create depth, emotion, and meaning. From detailed portraits to abstract compositions, the focus remains on capturing form while allowing room for interpretation.
The collection reflects curiosity, patience, and a continuous effort to translate observation into a visual language. It highlights the connection between traditional art and modern design, where foundational skills in drawing and composition inform more complex creative problem-solving.
